02Who can play
You must be 13 or older. If we learn that a player is under 13, we close the account and delete its data.
03What we collect, why, and for how long

Voice chat is not recorded. It passes through our relay servers only while you talk.
Backups of our database are kept for 30 days, so deleted data can stay in a backup for up to 30 days before it is gone.
04Who receives your data
- Mojang/Microsoft confirm your Minecraft account when you sign in. Your password and Microsoft login never reach Splitstone.
- Hetzner hosts our servers in the European Union.
- Cloudflare protects our website and service from attacks and stores our backups.
- Vultr and LightNode run the relay servers that carry 2v2, co-op and voice traffic. They store nothing.
- Better Stack monitors whether the service is up and keeps error logs for 3 days.
- mclo.gs (run by Aternos in Germany) stores logs you choose to send. It removes file paths, usernames, IP addresses and tokens. Anyone with the link can read a log, and mclo.gs deletes it 90 days after it was last viewed.
- Tebex sells our items and handles payment. Tebex is responsible for your payment details under its own privacy policy; we only learn what was bought and for which account.
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Transfers from the EU rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU's standard contractual clauses.
05Automated decisions
Our chat filter and AI moderation tool can mute a message on their own in clear cases, such as a slur. Every sanction notice says when automated tools were used, and a person reviews every appeal.
06Your rights
You can ask us to show you your data, correct it, delete it, give it to you in a portable form, or stop using it where we rely on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time. Write to contact@splitstonemc.com; we answer within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
07Changes
When this policy changes, the game asks you to read it and agree again before you keep playing.
